A one of a kind location practically untouched for 225 years, Charlestown Harbour represents a vital part of Cornish history and the role that trade in Britain played during the industrial revolution.
Charlestown Harbour offers the opportunity to shoot in an authentic port setting from the Georgian period. With over 200m of granite quay walkway, an inner and outer harbour with original kiln building and adjacent beaches. The inner dock provides an opportunity to film on a fixed water depth within a period harbour setting. Green screen facilities are also available.
On the outer harbour, the granite breakwater and pier offers direct access to St Austell bay onboard tallship vessels that live in Charlestown’s Harbour. Also secluded around the estate are tunnels, ponds, coves, slipways, granite staircases and an octagonal roundhouse with commanding views over the bay.
